Our Normal to Oily Hotty Balm is recommended for normal to oily, combination and acne prone skin. This light facial balm is made from a fusion of timeless plant essences, herbs and vegetable oils in a shea butter and beeswax base. The formula feels like it melts into your skin, however acts like a barrier in harsh elements, from pollutants and in protecting inflamed skin. Beeswax can be thought of as heavy but when used properly in a formula it is a powerful emollient, moisturizer and antibacterial agent. This blend has gained much notoriety as an excellent primer. The texture sets foundation and powder well, while protecting skin from make-up. In this formula we use Lavender Essential Oil. Lavender is a very good essential oil to use for acne prone skin, as it has properties that help break down the bacteria that creates acne issues. It can be used day or night, just warm the balm in your fingers and apply to naturally soothe, protect and rejuvenate your skin.
